Almost half the day was left for us and hence, we decided to roam around Kaza and visit up to Attargu Bridge to capture some wide Spiti River pictures under snow.
Around Kaza to Attargu
The whole valley outside Kaza looked just simply jaw dropping on this bright sunny day. I could not believe my eyes what was being offered as views and hence, we hardly talked to each other rather just kept clicking pictures, more and more of them. I do not have much to say here so its better that you look out this part again as a photo tale and enjoy the frozen moments from Kaza. You can enjoy some frozen moments which I captured in and around Kaza and some of them I keep watching again and again to feel that chill in Delhi summers 😉
Let me also share this video which I took up there… The White Carpet of Snow in Spiti Valley in March…
After clicking all these pictures of snow filled valley around Kaza, we went back to Sakya Abode and asked Dorje bhai to pick up again in the morning around same time to explore Lhalung Village and Dhangkar Monastery We rested for the leftover day in Kaza by chatting over with Tsering bhai and Motu bhai, sharing drinks and eating dinner together… Again no words here to express the gratitude for both of them who helped and served us like real guests in such harsh conditions. Still, there was no power in Kaza to have any kind of signals to talk to home to send any message. At night, it started to snow but very lightly and nevertheless it is always a pleasure to watch a snowfall…. After that we went for a good night sleep in frozen conditions.
I hope you liked this part of the Snow White Spiti Valley Travel Tale. Stay tuned for the next part coming up very soon “Freezing Lhalung Village” 🙂 🙂

thanks n regards,
jayesh 🙂
Hi Jayesh,
You should drive Innova as it will be quite comfortable and should be able to manage roads by this time of the year. You can get connected directly to some drivers in Spiti Valley or Kinnaur Valley at the link: List of Taxi Drivers for Spiti Valley & Kinnaur Valley. These drivers can come and pick you up from Manali & Shimla too.
Yes, road conditions will be different during this time as compared to September and your last time 🙂
Regards
Dheeraj
Hi frds. , I want to know that ,can I travel kaza in dec. to jan. In winter season through road trip on my bike . What would be the road plan and same useful tips . Thank u In advance with regards Nikhil
Nikhil, you can travel to Kaza in December as road remains open all round the year. Please note that it will be harsh, cold conditions with basic facilities available only. Hotels will be closed and home stays will be open only. Washrooms will not have any water in them and similarly food will be basic as per the home stays cooked for the family.
Just Amazing Photos. Mind blowing. Snow Snow everywhere.
Wish i could also travel there.
Thank you Farogh, I will wish that you make such a trip to spiti Valley next year in March. Feel free to post any queries you have for it 🙂
